To see more information about the journal, click the specific journal title on the Journals list page.

In the left pane of the page, right below the image of the journal’s cover page, links to the pages that contain detailed information related to the selected journal are provided. The number and availability of the links may vary. The available information is verified by CEON/CEES and its extent depends on the degree of quality control to which the journal is subject in SCIndeks. More details on quality control and the tools and services integrated in SCIndeks can be found in the interactive diagram on the SCIndeks home page and in the About section.

All about the journal

Opens the page that contains the basic information about the journal. The following information is displayed in the right pane:

  • ISSN and eISSN,
  • publisher,
  • journal's URL,
  • publication frequency,
  • editor-in-chief and the contact details of the editorial office,
  • journal ranking tier according to the Journal Bibliometric Report (JBR),
  • JCR/WoS Impact Factor Two, or alternatively CEON WoS Impact Factor Two,
  • JCR/WoS Impact Factor Five, or alternatively CEON WoS Impact Factor Five,
  • CEON Impact Factor Two,
  • CEON Impact Factor Five,
  • databases that index the journal,
  • license information (only for journals with a publicly available publication policy in SCIndeks).

If journal is listed in Journal Citation Reports its JCR/WoS IF2 and JCR/WoS IF5 are displayed. If not, indicators CEON WoS IF2 and CEON WoS IF5 are displayed instead. Short descriptions of the indicators are given in the tooltips.

If journal articles are assigned DOIs, the name of the relevant DOI registration agency is also displayed.
If the journal is indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals, this information is displayed as a sort of an international certificate that the journal is a legitimate Open Access journal.

The editor's name is accompanied with the ORCID icon ORCID if he/she has a registered ORCID iD.

Opens the page that contains the basic information about the scientific fields to which the journal belongs and the topics it covers (Aims and Scope). The Portrait also shows the journal’s citation profile. The information displayed on this page is primarily intended for potential authors. The following information is provided for all journals:

  • the classification of journals according to science fields (Bibliometric and Frascati, modified),
  • an overview of the most frequent author keywords in published articles (Author keywords),
  • an animated diagram of the structure of published articles by article type; data are provided for the whole indexing period and for each year individually (Types of papers).

For journals that have references processed in SCIndeks and displayed on article pages (i.e. subscribed to Advanced and Professional packages), as well as for those that were previously subject to quality control in SCIndeks, the following information about cited references is provided:

  • an animated diagram of the structure of cited references by article type (Types of references) and
  • a tabular overview of the most cited authors and journals in the selected journal over the past five years (Citation profile).

Detailed information about the journal's Aims and Scope is available only for the journals subject to quality control in SCIndeks.


Author keywords

Keywords

Author keywords are displayed as popular tags: terms written out in different shades of gray using various font sizes and weights. The larger, bolder and darker the font, the more frequent the keyword. Each tag is a link that launches a search and generates a list of articles that contain the term.

The structure of published papers is displayed as a pie chart. Hover the mouse over each chart segment to see its structure (article subtypes). Use the drop-down list to the right of the title “Types of papers” to select the article structure for the entire indexing period (“all“) or for each year individually. When clicked, the button arrow launches the animation showing the changes in the structure of the published articles from the first to the last volume (year) indexed in SCindeks. Use the button pause to pause the animation. The button reset resets the animation (“all”).

Use the drop-down list to the right of the title “Types of references” to select the article structure for the entire indexing period (“all“) or for each year individually. When clicked, the button  launches the animation showing the changes in the structure of the cited references from the first to the last volume (year) indexed in SCIndeks. Use the button  to pause the animation. The button  resets the animation (“all”).

Displays two tables that show an overview of the most cited authors and journals in the selected journal over the past five years.

Links to the journal management system. It is available solely to the journals that use SCIndeks Assistant. The Assistant’s home page is displayed in a new window.

Opens Instructions for Authors, as given in the journal. The PDF document is displayed in the right pane of the page.

in Serbian Libraries

Links to the journal record page in the Virtual Library of Serbia containing detailed bibliographic information on the journal, including information on issues available in print in Serbian libraries.

in Journal Bibliometric Report

Links to the indicators of the journal's bibliometric performance available within the Bibliometric Report on the Categorization of Scientific Journals, published by the Centre for Evaluation in Education and Science.

Issues&Articles

This section shows the journal's coverage in SCIndeks. If a year is displayed, this means that at least the basic bibliographic information and abstracts are available for the articles published in the particular journal volume. To display the issues within the certain volume click the sign Proširi 2016. To collapse the list of issues click the sign arrow. To display the list of articles published in a single issue, click the volume/issue number.
The list of articles in an issue is displayed in the right pane of the page. If the article is available as full text, the PDF icon graphic is displayed in the left column. The basic metadata about the articles and their abstracts and keywords are always available, regardless of whether there is a PDF icon or not.
