Uticaj buke na zdravlje ljudi

Sažetak
Buka prožima svakodnevni život čoveka i ubraja se u savremene zagađivače. Definiše se kao neželjeni zvuk i ima auditivne i neauditivne efekte na zdravlje ljudi. Osim profesionalne izloženosti buci u radnoj sredini, i u svakodnevnom životu sve je veći potencijalni nepovoljni uticaj buke kao egzogenog stresora na zdravlje. Efekti buke na zdravlje mogu biti privremeni i trajni. U profesionalnim okolnostima najčešće se ispoljavaju gubitak sluha i zujanje u ušima. Brojne studije ukazuju na to da buka utiče na: nastanak psihološkog distresa, poremećaje sna, veću zastupljenost arterijske hipertenzije i kardiovaskularnih bolesti, pojavu dijabetesa melitusa, glavobolje i bolesti pluća. Takođe, poznato je nepovoljno dejstvo buke u zdravstvenim ustanovama, dok je značajan i specifičan uticaj buke na zdravlje posebno osetljivih grupa ljudi kao što su autistične osobe i osobe starijeg životnog doba. Pomoću različitih strategija i edukacionih programa moguće je smanjiti nepovoljan uticaj buke na zdravlje opšte populacije.
