Strategije suočavanja sa stresom i lokus kontrole kod adolescenata

Sažetak
Razvojni zadaci koji se stavljaju pred adolescenta zahtevaju stvaranje novih strategija ponašanja i redifinisanje starih. Istraživanja pokazuju da je uspeh u školi veoma dobar pokazatelj opšteg blagostanja adolescenta, dok se neuspeh smatra važnim prediktorom visokorizičnih ponašanja. U ovom istraživanju poređeni su adolescenti sa visokim i niskim školskim postignućem u odnosu na strategije suočavanja sa stresom i lokus kontrole. U istraživanju je učestvovalo 98 adolescenata. Primenjeni su Upitnik za procenu strategija suočavanja sa stresom i Skala lokusa kontrole. Rezultati ukazuju da između adolescenata iz dve poređene grupe postoji statistički značajna razlika. Za razliku od adolescenata sa visokim školskim postignućem u odnosu na strategije suočavanja sa stresom adolescenti sa niskim školskim postignućem imaju niže samopoštovanje, više se oslanjaju na vanporodične veze, traže socijalnu podršku svojih vršnjaka i skloniji su zloupotrebi supstanci i maladaptivnim oblicima ponašanja. Adolescenti sa niskim školskim postignućem imaju izraženiji spoljašnji lokus kontrole. Dati su predlozi za preventivni rad.
