Radical changes that occurred in the last ten years in the world and in our country - first of all the disintegration of the former Yugoslav state and its social system, civil war in territories of the seceded republics, terrorism in Kosovo-Metohija and the recent policy of creators of the so called new world order regarding our country and people, with unprecedented and unjustly imposed sanctions causing the economic exhaustion of our country and people - impose the need for moral restauration and perpetual moral strengthening of our society, and of our army in particular. Because of all this a new approach of educators is necessary in their developing the moral and patriotic awareness of the young in our society in general and in the army in particular, in order to attain the desired goals in the building up their value orientation and the fatherland ideal. In other words, in the young generations should be carefully developed and cultivated everything that is freedom-loving and progressive in the spirit of democratic and humanistic society. Development of moral and patriotic awareness of students of military schools is one of the most important goals and tasks in their education and preparation for their very responsible duties of military leaders.
