Sažetak
Brak se definiše kao društvena, verska i zakonska zajednica muža i žene, a kvalitet ovog odnosa je od ogromnog značaja za same bračne partnere, decu, kao i društvo u najširem smislu. Na osnovu same definicije braka jasno je da odgovarajuća rodna ideologija i stavovi u vezi sa rodnim ulogama igraju značajnu ulogu u mnogim aspektima bračne i porodične dinamike. Smatra se da rodne uloge, štaviše, igraju glavnu ulogu u određivanju kvaliteta bračnih odnosa određujući šta ljudi očekuju od svog partnera i braka. Uloge žena i stavovi o ulogama žena doživeli su brojne promene u poslednjih nekoliko decenija pod uticajem određenih društvenih promena, pre svega usled sve veće stope zaposlenosti žena, i posledično drugačije podele rada između muškaraca i žena, kako na poslu, tako i u porodici. U našem radu analizirali smo kako zaposlenost žena i promene u tradicionalnoj podeli rada u domaćinstvu deluju na kvalitet bračnih odnosa. Pre svega, ukazali smo na značajne pozitivne, a takođe i negativne implikacije koje promene u bračnoj podeli rada imaju na kvalitet bračnih od- nosa. Na kraju smo pokušali da ukažemo da usvojena rodna ideologija, tradicionalna ili egalitarna/feministička, deluje kao važan posrednik između podele rada i doživljenog kvaliteta bračnih odnosa.
