Perspektive 'malih' trgovaca u svetlu zaoštravanja konkurencije na domaćem tržištu
Perspective of 'small' merchant in the light of intensifying competition on domestic market
Ekonomski institut, Beograd
Abstract
During the hardest crises in our national economy, commerce represented one of the main escape-strategy for many of those trying to earn their living and the smallest trade firms were the most flexible part of the economic infrastructure. Although there are few of them that succeeded in making a remarkable break-through, there is no doubt in their important role of keeping the social stability of the population. Following the reform-concept, much more attention nowadays should be directed to the new prospects of "small" trade business in the region. The EU countries have a wast experience in making a strong, long-term oriented cooperation agreements between economic giants and small entrepreneurs as a part of their supply-chain. Due to their timeline flexibility of the business process, it is possible to reach very high standards of the consumer service activities. Is there a hint of new opportunities of a changing business environment in our country, too.
