Sažetak
U radu se iznose rezultati ispitivanja efikasnosti agregacionog atraktanta u cilju integralnog suzbijanja repine pipe (Bothynoderes punctiventris Germ) u upoređenju sa kontrolnim klopkama tipa "Barber posude". U klopkama sa atraktantima prikupljeno je 97,3% populacije insekata, a u kontrolnim svega 2,7% primeraka. Praćenjem migracije insekata na starom repištu, putem atraktanata registrovano je 94,8%, a na novom 87% imaga repine pipe, odnosno 5,2 i 13% u kontrolnim klopkama. Rastojanja od 20-30 m između klopki sa atraktantima, kao zamena za lovne kanale, ne zadovoljavaju. U međuprostorima bez atraktanata utvrđeno je 2,4 odnosno 3,0% populacije insekata. Na sadašnjem nivou saznanja agregacioni atraktant za repinu pipu mogao bi se sa uspehom koristiti za rano otkrivanje, utvrđivanje žarišta, masovno izlovljavanje i praćenje migracije sa starih na nova repišta. Njegovo uvođenje u praksu doprinelo bi racionalnijem i ekološki prihvatljivijem hemijskom suzbijanju ove štetočine.
Abstract
In 2004 and 2005 in southern Bačka, we tested the efficacy of the aggregation attractant in controlling the beet weevil (Bothynoderes punctiventris Germ) in old and new sugar beet fields relative to the performance of Barber traps. The study has shown the following: 1. Between early April and early June in old beet fields, traps containing the attractant collected 8,225 beet weevil imagoes of both sexes, accounting for 97.3% of the total number of insects collected. The control traps collected only 222 specimens (2.7%) during the same time period. The largest number of insects was caught in the first ten-day period of April (almost 70%). 2. Our use of the attractant as a substitute for trap ditches around old and new sugar beet fields has shown that if the attractant-containing traps are placed 30 m apart, they will allow 2.9% of the insect population to enter the field (2.7% when the traps are spaced 20 m apart). 3. Comparative monitoring of the infestation and subsequent departure of insects from the old field and their infestation of a new one has shown that the traps containing the attractant are significantly more effective. In the old field, 94.8% beet weevil imagoes were caught using the attractant, whereas in the new one the figure dropped to 87%. Beet weevil incidence peaked in early April in the old field and in the third ten-day period of April and early May in the new one. The results of the study have shown that the introduction of the aggregation attractant in the management of the beet weevil would contribute towards its early detection, result in massive catches and more successful prognostication, and make chemical control more cost-effective.
