DSM-5 - pregled metodološkog postupka

Sažetak
Savremene klasifikacije mentalnih poremećaja poslužile su da se psihijatrija i psihopatologija vrate u biomedicinski model. Nakon više od trideset godina, sindromatski pristup nozografiji dovodi se u pitanje sa filozofskih i metodoloških aspekata. Cilj ovog rada je da predstavi metodološki postupak u kreiranju klasifikaciji mentalnih poremećaja, počevši od DSM-III, preko nekoliko principa: to je, pre svega, proklamovani 'ateoretski pristup' klasifikaciji, koji je primenjivan kod kreiranja kriterijuma za poremećaje koji se nazivaju 'operacionalizovanim', a zatim i 'nomotetski pristup', koji je predstavljen kao jedino legitimno sredstvo za donošenje zaključaka o mentalnim poremećajima. Ishod ovog metodološkog postupka moguće je pratiti kroz njegove rezultate: mere pouzdanosti i validnosti nozoloških kategorija, kao i pitanja psihijatrijskog komorbiditeta, koji se vidi kao artefakt metodološkog postupka.
