Kliničke karakteristike u podgrupi metabolički zdrave gojazne dece i adolescenata

Sažetak
Epidemija gojaznosti u populaciji dece i adolescenata dovodi do povećanja rizika za nastanak udruženih metaboličkih i drugih poremećaja zdravlja. Ipak, uočeno je da određen broj gojaznih ima normalan metabolički fenotip, i oni se nazivaju metabolički zdravim gojaznim. Prevalencija metabolički zdravih u populaciji gojaznih iznosi i do 44%, a pored očuvane senzitivnosti na insulin ove gojazne osobe imaju manji rizik za poremećaje u regulaciji glukoze, dislipidemiju, steatozu jetre i hipertenziju. Uprkos manjoj učestalosti metaboličkih komplikacija gojaznosti, u ovoj grupi gojaznih mortalitet je veći u odnosu na normalno uhranjene. Nalazi istraživanja ukazuju da je potreban drugačiji pristup u lečenju gojaznosti kod metabolički zdravih gojaznih, zbog čega ih je neophodno zasebno posmatrati u daljim istraživanjima.
