Industrija turizma i nacionalna konkurentnost - perspektiva zemalja Podsaharske Afrike

Sažetak

Cilj ovog rada je da analizira uticaj konkurentnosti industrije turizma na globalnu konkurentnost 31 zemlje Podsaharske Afrike (SSA). Cilj je da se identifikuje korelacija između dostignutog nivoa konkurentnosti sektora turizma i putovanja merenog Indeksom konkurentnosti putovanja i turizma (TTCI) i globalnog nivoa konkurentnosti merenog Indeksom globalne konkurentnosti (GCI) u zemljama SSA. Istraživanje se vrši primenom deskriptivne statistike, korelacione, regresione, klasterske i komparativne analize. Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju da postoji jaka pozitivna korelacija između GCI i TTCI, kao i pozitivan uticaj TTCI na GCI u posmatranoj grupi zemalja. Zaključci ovog rada pružaju preporuke kreatorima politike razvoja turizma u SSA zemljama.
