Društveni i ekološki aspekti dvorišta u narodnoj arhitekturi Kipra

Sažetak
Centralna dvorišta su se pojavila u mnogim civilizacijama sveta. Kipar nije bio izuzetak jer su dvorišta formirala važne arhitektonske karakteristike kroz vekove u stambenoj arhitekturi ostrva. Podizanje stanova spojenih jednih sa drugima, potreba za privatnim otvorenim zaštićenim prostorom zbog zatvorenosti društva, kao i klimatski uslovi, tj. topla mediteranska klima, doveli su do široke upotrebe dvorišta u gotovo svim tradicionalnim rezidencijama ostrva u poslednja dva veka. Osim u narodnoj arhitekturi, dvorišta su se pojavila u ranijim istorijskim periodima i, u nekim slučajevima, ona su se koristila u stambenoj arhitekturi poslednjih decenija. Ovaj rad predstavlja analitičku studiju o društvenim i ekološkim aspektima dvorišta u narodnim stanovima Kipra. Istraživanje naglašava ulogu dvorišta kao važnog mesta za društveno okupljanje, kao i regulatora mikroklime u domovima. Pored toga, ističe njegov bioklimatski značaj u poboljšanju integracije prirodnih elemenata u dizajn i ukupni arhitektonski koncept stana.
