Sažetak
Naglim porastom nestabilnosti u globalnoj ekonomiji i intenzivnijim iscrpljivanjem resursa, javlja se potreba za usvajanjem novog ekonomskog modela koji postaje imperativ poslovanja. U cilju poboljšanja performansi resursa, mnoge kompanije su preduzele aktivnosti ka pronalaženju načina za ponovnu upotrebu proizvoda ili njihovih komponenti i obnavljanje inputa proizvodnje, materijala i energije. Mnoga preduzeća su danas počela da koriste principe cirkularne ekonomije radi stvaranja proizvoda koji su trajniji, koji se lako ponovo koriste ili recikliraju, i koji su profitabilniji. Imajući u vidu da tekstilna industrija spada u jednu od ekološki najštetnijih industrijskih grana, svrha ovog rada je da ukaže na prednosti koje transformacija tradicionalnog (linearnog) modela proizvodnje u cirkularni model industrijskih aktivnosti ima za povećanje ekološke održivosti ove industrijske grane.
