University of Priština - Kosovska Mitrovica, Faculty of Economy
Keywords: foreign trade liberalisation; trade policy; World Trade Oranisation; Central European countries; Eastern European countries
Abstract
The aim of the paper is to analyze European transition countries’ experiences regarding WTO accession, that should be landmark for Serbia. First, we analyze tariff and overall foreign-trade policy in Central- European countries, and in Southern-European, too. Having in mind that Serbia is the only country (besides Montenegro and Bosnia&Herzegovina) that still is outside the WTO, we consider other countries’ experience accession to the WTO highly useful.
