Uloga stručne prakse u obrazovanju budućeg kadra u hotelijerstvu i turizmu

Sažetak
Turizam podstiče rad velikog broja malih i srednjih preduzeća, kroz čiju aktivnost se obezbeđuje porast broja zaposlenih. Prateći trendove, visokoškolske ustanove nastoje da obezbede stručnjake koji će biti nosioci budućih kretanja u turizmu. Kako bi se kvalitet obrazovanja u ovoj oblasti održao i unapredio, neophodno je voditi računa o kvalitetu programa stručne prakse, koji predstavljaju most između formalnog obrazovanja i rada u turizmu. U tom kontekstu, cilj rada je da istraži ulogu i značaj stručne prakse u obrazovanju studenata iz oblasti hotelijerstva i turizma. Istraživanje je sprovedeno na uzorku od 134 ispitanika, koji su bili podeljeni u dve grupe u zavisnosti od toga da li imaju iskustva u vezi sa stručnom praksom u hotelima i turističkim preduzećima. Rezultati istraživanja su pokazali da ne postoje statistički značajne razlike u percepciji značaja stručne prakse i faktora koji utiču na izbor kompanije u kojoj studenti obavljaju praksu. S druge strane, rezultati istraživanja pokazuju da postoje statistički značajne razlike između studenata koji su pohađali stručnu praksu i onih koji još nisu, u proceni uloge hotelsko-turističkih kompanija u njihovom praktičnom obrazovanju, kao i kompetencijama koje studenti treba da steknu po završetku stručne prakse.
