New design of sugar beet combine harvester

Abstract
This paper analyzes technological schemes of modern sugar beet harvesters with bunker, as well as completely new technological scheme which was developed by German company Grimme. Besides technological scheme, caterpillar drive is presented as well as new automatic side leveling system. New automatic control system for working organs, which changes working regime in correlation with work conditions was shown. Since these machines have been working in Serbia for the last two years, the first experience in exploitation is presented.
