Sažetak
Polazeći od shvatanja da savremena tehnološka sredstva komunikacije čine integralni deo održavanja društvenih odnosa, cilj ovog rada je da se utvrdi da li internet preuzima primat kod održavanja interpersonalnih odnosa u odnosu na susrete licem u lice (LuL), i postoje li određeni aspekti održavanja naših društvenih veza kod kojih interpersonalni mediji interneta, email i IM (Instant Messenger) dominiraju. Analiza je vršena na dva nivoa, prvo kroz pregled postojećih istraživanja koja se bave ovom problematikom i drugo, kroz istraživanje komunikacione upotrebe interneta u Srbiji koje smo sproveli u periodu 2011-2012. godine na uzorku od 1063 ispitanika uz 15 dubinskih intervjua. Nalazi našeg istraživanja slični su onima do kojih se došlo u velikom broju drugih studija a koji ne pokazuju da internet preuzima primat u odnosu na susrete LuL, ali se, takođe, može zapaziti da interpersonalni mediji interneta postaju sve važniji za održavanje veza u pojedinim segmentima personalnih mreža.
