Sažetak
U uslovima ekonomske globalizacije i dinamičkog okruženja, kompanije moraju kontinuirano da unapređuju i inoviraju svoje poslovanje, kako bi izbegle složenu i oštru konkurenciju i kako bi ostvarile dugoročan uspeh. Usled intezivnog dejstva tehničko-tehnološkog progresa, od uvođenja inovativnih promena u preduzeću i preduzimanja aktivnosti istraživanja i razvoja, zavisi opstanak i uspeh preduzeća na tržištu. Aktivnosti istraživanja i razvoja predstavljaju krucijalan faktor u generisanju znanja, kreiranju patenata i inovacija, kao i u rastu rentabilnosti u poslovanju savremenih preduzeća. Stoga, istraživanje i razvoj i inovacije predstavljaju kamen temeljac konkurentske prednosti. Svrha ovog rada je da ukaže na vitalan značaj koji istraživanje i razvoj ima za inovativnost, tj. za obavljanje inovativnih aktivnosti na nivou zemalja u Evropi i u svetu.
