Sažetak
U organizacionoj praksi i istraživanjima, plodna komunikacija je značajno povezana sa kvalitetom liderskih osobina. Kvalitetno rukovođenje pomaže u ublažavanju neuspeha organizacije, u savladavanju sve većih poslovnih izazova koji mogu dovesti do rasipanja resursa, talenata i potencijala potrebnih za postizanje optimalne organizacione produktivnost. Međutim, istraživanje relevantne literature pokazuje da su korporativni lideri često suočeni sa izazovom suptilnog kretanja između različitih stilova komunikacije, prilikom komuniciranja sa zaposlenima uz jasnije formulisanje ideja i znanja kad god su pred njima zahtevi koji sprečavaju organizacionu produktivnost. U tom kontekstu, ova studija istražuje odnos između komunikacionog stila rukovođenja, osobina ličnosti i organizacione produktivnosti. U istraživanju je korišćena metoda unakrsnog anketiranja. Anketirano je 112 članova akademskog osoblja Univerziteta u Lagosu, Nigerija, koji su odabrani primenom tehnike više etapnog uzorkovanja. Podaci su prikupljeni putem struktuiranog upitnika i ličnim zapažanjem. Rezultati pokazuju da postoji veza između komunikacionog stila rukovođenja i osobina ličnosti. Takođe, rezultati otkrivaju da komunikacioni stil rukovođenja određuje organizacionu produktivnost. Šta više, rezultati pokazuju da osobine ličnosti i komunikacioni stilovi imaju sinergetski efekat na organizacionu produktivnost. Konačno, obavljena je diskusija rezultata sa osvrtom na empirijske rezultate prisutne u relevantnoj literaturi i istaknute su preporuke za upravljanje organizacijama, kako u praksu, tako i u budućim istraživanjima.
