Potential of applicability biofertilizers in non-legume plants production

Abstract
The objective of this paper was to review the potential, applicability and prospectives of using microorganisms in field crop production. After several decades of studying plant inoculation with free living bacteria (Azotobacter, Azospirillum, Derxia, Klebsiella, Pseudomonas), blue-green algae and phospho-mineralizing bacteria the obtained results have been practically applied in the form of commercial microbiological preparations. The use of these preparations brings savings through a reduced application of expensive nitrogen fertilizers, more effective phosphorus uptake by plants and improved dynamics of microbial processes in the soil. The parameters affect positively the effective and potential fertility of plants.
