Sistemi za podršku odlučivanju
Decision support system
Projekat: Unapređenje konkurentnosti Srbije u procesu pristupanja Evropskoj uniji (MPNTR - 47028)
Abstract
In many aspects of modern business there's a growing need for automating the process of decision-making. This led to the formation of Decision support systems, developed to help and assist along the process. The decision-making process involves all the actions that the decision maker is expected to take in order to reach the conclusion. This process depends on the context and type of the decision to be made, and the nature or the style of the decision-maker. Decision support systems include an interactive relationship between the user and the system in order to make optimal decisions. To make this interactive relationship effective, on the one hand the user must understand the way Decision support systems work, and on the other hand the designer of Decision support systems must understand the goals and logic of the decision-maker. Decision support system relies on and is built upon the standard information system. This paper is aimed at presenting the basic concepts of the decision making theory, defining Decision support system, and introducing its components.
