On the application of a data model to nondestructive bridges testing

Abstract
Methods of testing and control of bridges, as well as bridge elements, are considered in the paper from the aspect of a modern database. It is considered the application of the building information modeling (BIM) to monitoring and maintenance of bridges using nondestructive testing methods (IBR). The possibility of loading data and estimations using digital test equipment into IFC database on bridge in order to make them available for bridge management is illustrated. Due to the application of the IFC2x3 Platform Specification, these data can share many users then and approach using different software applications.
