The politics of knowledge production in Higher Education
Sažetak
Ovaj rad analizira pitanje proizvodnje znanja u visokom obrazovanju u osnovnim oblastima (Sjedinjene Države, Zapadna Evropa) i njene (negativne) uticaje na globalnom jugu. Rad daje predloge kako da se prevaziđe ova situacija (isticanje 'domaćeg' znanja, saradnja na relaciji jug-jug i revidiranje nastavnih planova i programa).
Abstract
This paper analyses the knowledge production in Higher Education in the core areas (US, Western Europe) and its (negative) effects on the Global South. It presents practical suggestions to overcome this situation (indigenization of knowledge, south-south co-operation, and revision of curricula).
