Mycosis of ornamental plants
Mikoze ukrasnih biljaka
Abstract
For the past two decades in our country the increased interest in decorative plants has resulted in their increased production. Additionally, increase in production and profitability caused its modernization, which led to certain problems in production. First of all occurred problems with a disease causals and they are a major limiting factor for successful production. In both indoor and outdoor production, the greatest economic significance have some phytophathogenic fungi and pseudofungi. In our conditions lodging of the seedlings is one of the most common diseases whose causers are Pythium spp., Rhizoctonia solani, Thielaviopsis basicola, Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Botrytis cinerea, Fusarium spp., Phytophthora spp. and etc. During the growing season, considerable economic damages cuase disease such as Downy Mildews (Phytophthora, Peronospora, Plasmopara), Powdery Mildew (Sphaerotheca, Erysiphe, Leveillula, Microsphaera, Podosphaera, Oidium), Rust (Phragmidium, Uromyces, Puccinia), various leaf spots (Diplocarpon, Glomerella, Septoria, Alternaria) and wilting (Vericillium, Fusarium). For successful control of all pathogens requires good knowledge of the symptoms, host distribution, epidemiology and characteristics of pathogens. Control of the ornamental plants primarily should be based on the concept of integral protection, in which preventive measures are of particular importance.
Sažetak
Povećan interes za dekorativnim biljkama u poslednje dve decenije imao je za posledicu i povećanu proizvodnju ovih biljaka kod nas. Osim povećanja proizvodnje i profitabilnosti, došlo je i do njenog osavremenjavanja i modernizacije, što je dovelo i do određenih problema u proizvodnji. Pre svega, javili su se problemi sa prouzrokovačima bolesti i oni predstavljaju glavni limitirajući faktor uspešne proizvodnje. Najveći ekonomski značaj, kako u zatvorenom prostoru, tako i na otvorenom polju, imaju pojedine fitopatogene gljive i pseudogljive. U našim uslovima, poleganje ponika je jedno od najčešćih oboljenja, čiji su prouzrokovači Pythium spp., Rhizoctonia solani, Thielaviopsis basicola, Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Botrytis cinerea, Fusarium spp., Phytophthora spp. i dr. Tokom vegetacije, značajne ekonomske štete prouzrokuju bolesti tipa plamenjače (Phytophthora, Peronospora, Plasmopara), pepelnice (Sphaerotheca, Erysiphe, Leveillula, Microsphaera, Podosphaera, Oidium), rđe (Phragmidium, Uromyces, Puccinia), raznih pegavosti (Diplocarpon, Glomerella, Septoria, Alternaria) i uvelosti (Verticillium, Fusarium). Za uspešno suzbijanje svih patogena neophodno je poznavanje simptomatologije, rasprostranjenosti domaćina, epidemiologije i karakteristika patogena. Zaštita ukrasnih biljaka treba da se bazira na konceptu integralne zaštite, gde preventivne mere imaju poseban značaj.
