Sažetak
Globalizacija menja način na koji gledamo na svet i utiče na zdravstveni sektor. Postoji potreba da se interkulturalna kompetencija implementira među zaposlene u zdravstvenom sektoru. Koncept interkulturalne medicine nastao je zbog uticaja kulturnih barijera za efikasnu zdravstvenu zaštitu. Da bi se izbegli kulturni stereotipi a zbog odlučujuće uloge ljudskog faktora u upravljanju zdravstvenim ustanovama, neophodno je dobro poznavati interkulturalno upravljanje ljudskim resursima. Migracija stanovništva i globalizacija iziskuju potrebu za edukacijom, kako bi se razumeo uticaj kulturoloških faktora na efikasnu zdravstvenu zaštitu. Koncept kulturne kompetentnosti u zdravstvenoj zaštiti obuhvata strategije, odgovorno upravljanje i ponašanje zaposlenih i kao takav pruža osnov za efikasno funkcionisanje u interkulturalnom okruženju.
