Sažetak
Problem nacionalne i ljudske bezbednosti u Nigeriji čini nemogućnost većine oblika vlasti i državnih agencija da dosledno i na institucionalnoj osnovi garantuju adekvatnu bezbednost, mir i dobrobit stanovnika. Ova situacija proizilazi iz širokih društvenih nepravednosti i konflikata koji dovode do straha, haosa i konflikata u situacijama u kojima se preti, koje su pune nasilja i nestabilnosti u postkolonijalnim državama Afrike. Ozbiljan zadatak nacionalne integracije u ovoj post-kolonijalnoj državi zahteva preispitivanje normativa i empirisjkih uslova za kulturno osetljive ideje o bezbednosti koje poštuju vrednost ljudskog života. Interesuje nas politika koja se tiče reorganizacije društvenog poretka, koja naglasak stavlja na obrazovanje i system nagrada koji otvara mogućnost za više odgovornosti i ograničava neizvesnost previše centralizovane grube i neproduktivne moći u prevashodno statičnom sistemu.
