Sažetak
Pored toga što su mesta ekonomskog razvoja i sedišta društvene mobilnosti i kulturalne kreativnosti, gradovi su takođe mesta koja karakterišu nejednakosti i podele po više osnova, uključujući klasne, rasne, etničke, rodne, generacijske, kao i bezbednosne. U ovom radu biće predstavljena podeljena urbana bezbednost kao analitički alat za istraživanje podela u ljudskoj bezbednosti u gradu, koje su uzrokovane nejednakim nivoima pristupa uslugama bezbednosti i/ili spremnosti bezbednosnih aktera da pruže te usluge. Koncept se zasniva na pretpostavci da je bezbednost, kao neke druge usluge u gradovima, javno dobro i resurs koji treba podjednako i univerzalno da bude na raspolaganju stanovnicima grada. Postojanje ili odsustvo bezbednosti može biti indikator prostorne nejednakosti i podela. Pored opisivanja ovog pojma, autor je pokušao da predloži konceptualni okvir za analizu podeljene urbane bezbednosti kroz prizmu sedam dimenzija ljudske bezbednosti. Podeljena urbana bezbednost može se posmatrati i izvan teorijske i metodološke upotrebe, ali i kao praktični alat za politike urbane bezbednosti s ciljem smanjenja razlika u neizvesnostima i nejednakostima u urbanim područjima.
