Tehnologija i ljudska bezbednost - izazovi i prilike

Sažetak
Postoji bliska veza između naučnog i tehnološkog razvoja i pitanja ljudske bezbednosti zbog revolucionarnog uticaja novih tehnologija na različite aspekte života ljudi. Međutim, iako moderna tehnologija nesumnjivo donosi brojne prednosti ljudima, ona ima i neke negativne implikacije za život pojedinaca. Stoga će biti važno ispitati svetle (prilike) i mračne (izazovne) strane novih tehnologija kroz sočivo ljudske bezbednosti zbog povećanja tehnološkog razvoja u oblasti bezbednosti i nedostatka relevantne literature. Naime, postoji zabrinutost zbog bezbednosnih rizika koji proizlaze iz moguće zloupotrebe nauke i tehnologije. Na primer, dok tehnologije za nadzor dovode do lične nesigurnosti, nejednaka distribucija tehnologije ugrožava društveno-ekonomske probleme ljudi, posebno u manje razvijenim delovima sveta. Zbog toga bi trebalo iskoristiti Janus-lice sa novim tehnologijama kako bi se analizirao i shvatio njihov uticaj na ljudska bića i njihove bezbednosne neprilike.
