Poređenje Stajnerove kefalometrijske i modifikovane Endruzove fotometrijske metode za procenu anteroposteriornog položaja maksilarnih centralnih sekutića

Sažetak
Uvod/Cilj Maksilarni sekutići koji se vide tokom osmeha predstavljaju jednu od najvažnijih karakteristika lica. U pokušaju da prevaziđe ograničenja standardnih rendgenkefalometrijskih metoda, Endruz predlaže metodu za određivanje idealnog anteroposteriornog (AP) položaja gornjih centralnih sekutića u odnosu na čelo. Stoga smo uporedili tradicionalnu Stajnerovu rendgenkefalometrijsku metodu za procenu položaja gornjih centralnih sekutića, koja koristi okolne skeletne strukture i metodu koju je predložio Endruz, sa ciljem da se utvrdi da li udaljene ali veoma uočljive kraniofacijalne strukture mogu uticati na naš utisak o položaju zuba. Metode Materijal za ovu studiju sastojao se od 90 nasumično odabranih lateralnih rendgenkefalograma, podeljenih u tri grupe, u odnosu na AP poziciju maksilarnih centralnih inciziva prema Stajnerovim rendgenkefalometrijskim normama. AP odnos maksilarnih centralnih sekutića je meren kao perpendikularno rastojanje od najanteriornije tačke krunice gornjeg centralnog sekutića do linije koja spaja tačke nazion i subspinale, kao i do vertikalne linije kroz središnju tačku čela. Studentov t-test i Pirsonova korelacija korišćeni su za poređenje testiranih varijabli. Rezultati Utvrđena je statistički značajna razlika između ispitivanih metoda (p = 0,01108). Prema Stajnerovoj metodi, 46,67% ispitanika je imalo retruziju sekutića, a 53,33% ispitanika imalo je protruziju. Endruzova metoda je pokazala drugačije rezultate: 35,56% ispitanika je imalo retruziju, dok je 64,40% imalo protruziju. Zaključak Metoda koju predlaže Endruz pokazala je znatno više osoba sa protruzijom gornjih centralnih sekutića nego tradicionalna rendgenkefalometrijska metoda prema Stajneru. Blago retrudirani položaj gornjih centralnih sekutića prema Stajnerovoj analizi ne znači uvek i lošu estetiku lica, ako sekutići imaju povoljan položaj prema čelu. Nizak nivo korelacije ukazuje na to da se nikada ne treba oslanjati na samo jednu grupu pokazatelja.
