Sažetak
Prema rezultatima ostvarenim u oblasti reforme političkih institucija, Srbija spada u grupu zemalja koje se nalaze u stanju prolongirane demokratske tranzicije, sa izraženim problemima u sferi konsolidacije demokratskih institucija. Zbog nepravilnosti u izbornim procedurama, kao i narušavanja principa koji garantuju poštovanje demokratskih normi i institucija u poslednjih nekoliko godina, Srbija je svrstavana u grupu demokratskih zemalja, ali se demokratija najčešće karakterisala kao manjkava. U međuvremenu, prešla je iz kategorije demokratskih u kategoriju hibridnih režima, ponajviše zbog rasta korupcije. Kada je reč o ekonomskoj transformaciji, Srbija pripada funkcionalnim tržišnim privredama, pri čemu tranzicija u tržišnu privredu još uvek nije završena, a neophodne ekonomske reforme se stalno odlažu. Od početka tranzicije do danas, u realizaciji političkih i ekonomskih reformi u Srbiji smenjuju se periodi ostvarivanja skromnih napredaka u oblasti političke i ekonomske transformacije sa periodima stagnacije, pa čak i nazadovanja u važnim segmentima reformi. Imajući u vidu da raspoloživi indikatori političkih i ekonomskih reformi ukazuju na učvršćivanje ekstraktivnih institucija, cilj rada je da istraži kako reprodukovanje ekstraktivnih političkih i ekonomskih institucija otežava konsolidaciju demokratije u Srbiji.
