Abstract
In this paper, the authors deal with the issue of legal regulation of special contracts in the project of the third book of the Civil Code of the Republic of Macedonia concerning the law on obligations. After referring to the legal sources of comparative, international and European law, as well as to certain legal projects and informal legal documents of contract law used as a model in the drafting of the alternative proposed rules, an overview of the proposed solutions for special nominate contracts is given. The remainder of the paper examines the dilemma of whether to codify and draft special rules on the so-called contracts of autonomous commercial practice.
