Temporalna organizacija događaja u priči kao deo poetike romana Danila Nikolića
Temporary organization of events in the story as the part of poetics of Danilo Nikolić's novel
Abstract
In this paper we researched the procedures applied by the writer Danilo Nikolić in the shape of narrative discourse in his novels from the point of view of temporary organization of events in the story. We firstly took into account the sequence of events in the story and realized that anachronic structure was a crucial trait of Nicolić's poetics. By means of retroversion in the topic of his novels Danilo Nikolić reveals life past of heroes and contributes to their characterization, and very often thanks to retroversion of the second degree realizes conspicuous scenes of dialogues. In some novels from this writer's opus achronia was noticed, bearing in mind the fact some narrative units cannot be connected from temporary sense of the word with other part of narrative discourse. Such topic's texture within the novel results in fragmentary composition, which reduces these Romanesque achievements to collages composed of stories. Phenomenon of the story rhythm is the second aspect we were dealing within this research. We concluded that the scene review of narrative situations and inclination to detail was a strong feature of novel poetics of this writer. Such procedure results in conspicuous images, which approaches Danilo Nikolić to that concept of art whose main intention is the creation of the illusion of reality. The third problem we have researched is the frequency of events in the story, and having look at it we noticed that with the procedure of repetition the writer introduced different perspectives in his prose, by which some inconsistencies were being completed within some narratives and it was indicated to the insufficiency of one perspective, and all of that contributed to the general dynamics of romanesque structures. The results of this research showed that the focus of this writer's novel poetics is on the form, and especially of the one which reflects a modern experience of the world, and which includes the idea of fragmentation on the wholeness of the individual and on the non-existence of the one universal truth. These features of poetics adjoin the writer Danilo Nikolić to that group of postmodern writers which were playing the forms in their oeuvres, and by them testified a certain truth on the existence.
