The maintenance of roller bearings

The development tendencies of new machines today, are based on high productivity, thus causing a significant increase: load, speed and operating temperature. As a result, problems occur with increased friction, wear, with imbalances, and the emergence of vibrations. At that, the fact that every other roller bearing on them cancel because of unsuitable lubrication, which certainly question the justification of the use and promotion of new technologies in production and especially in ways of maintaining order roller bearings. Aim was to show the actual advice and recommendations that are used in the maintenance of roller bearings. Further, in this paper will be described the procedures necessary for the maintenance of roller bearings, such as identification, storage and examination of bearings.
