Religious poems of Desanka Maksimović

Abstract
Spiritual world in poetry of Desanka Maksimović is extremely rich. Since origin of the poetess was from family of the priests, she had sophisticated sense of observing human being as Homo religious. In this paper, the author studies poems of Desanka Maksimović with religious motive. Results of the analysis show that poetic picture come from the great philanthropy of the poetess who is inclined to contemplative poetry. Desanka Maksimović has sense of religious themes and motives, not only to enrich her poetry but that makes it noble and arises it to higher levels of spirituality. Because of that, her poetry could be adopted as reflected poetry, which means very deep poetry. It is main conclusion of the author.
