Information technologies in agricultural engineering

Abstract
Development of information technologies and creation of the information society gave us a qualitative increase, in comparison with the industrial society, and it had resulted in an accelerated development of all industrial branches - including agricultural engineering that deals with developing agricultural machines, devices and equipment. This work analyses three basic segments of the life cycle of agricultural engineering where information technologies found there place: in the design process of agricultural engineering - informatization of all design phases of the process of invention; information technologies in the manufacturing process of agricultural engineering - process that is connected with the development of manufacturing systems that are applied in manufacturing agricultural machines and information technologies within the agricultural machines, devices and equipment.
