Sažetak
Jedan od glavnih ciljeva specijalističke edukacije iz psihijatrije predstavlja promovisanje i povećanje interesovanja za istraživanja u psihijatriji. Istovremeno, studije evidentiraju značajan pad lekara-istraživača u medicini uopšte. Postavlja se pitanje na koji način će se ovo smanjenje odraziti na budućnost istraživanja u psihijatriji imajući u vidu i postojeći problem regrutacije mladih lekara u psihijatriji. Pred mladim psihijatrima- istraživačima nalazi se niz izazova koji mogu biti prepreku u njihovom interesovanju i uključenju u naučno-istraživački rad. Studije pokazuju da su, u poređenju sa drugim specijalističkim granama, istraživačke aktivnosti u psihijatriji zaista zanemarene. Prepreke sa kojima se mladi lekari susreću u svom naučno-istraživačkom radu najčešće zavise od dve grupe faktora: spoljašnjih i unutrašnjih. Spoljašnji faktori mogu biti uslovljeni obrazovnim sistemom, institucionalnim obeležijima, kulturološkim i geografskim specifičnostima. Nedostatak vremena i novca, nejednaka distribucija psihijatara koji se bave naučno-istraživačkim radom, otežan pristup literaturi i velikim bazama podataka uz političko stanje i nedostatk mentorskog rada i edukacije značajni su spoljašnji faktori koji obeshrabruju mlade psihijatre da se uključe u istraživanja. Unutrašnji faktori koji predstavljaju prepreku mladim lekarima da se uključe u istraživanja zavise od njihovih stavova koji su proizvod prethodnog iskustva, predrasuda i emocionalnih faktora. Faktori koji sprečavaju mlade lekare u psihijatriji da istražuju i publikuju svoja istraživanja su heterogeni. Sinhronizovana i sistematska procena ovih faktora, u različitim evropskim zemljama, omogućila bi evidentiranje najvažnijih problema u ovom polju, poboljšala regrutaciju psihijatara-istraživača i smanjilo njihov odliv. Ova procena bi istovremeno obezbedila i bolji uvid u specifične prednosti i mane svakog od ovih faktora kao i ključne tačke za intervenciju, na globalnom i lokalnom planu.
