Sažetak
Višegodišnja upotreba resursa zbog prekomerne potrošnje ugrozila je životnu sredinu i predstavlja ozbiljnu brigu za sve nas. Sadašnja stopa potrošnje resursa može lišiti buduću generaciju resursa u kojima smo mi uživali. Očuvanje ovih resursa na duže zahteva razumnu i racionalnu praksu potrošnje od strane potrošača. Stoga, odgovorna potrošnja je hitno neophodna kako bi se dodatno spriečila degradacija okoline i iscrpljivanje resursa. Ovaj rad ima za cilj da istraži osnove odgovorne potrošnje. Razvijen je teorijski model da bi se objasnili i empirijski potvrdili osnove koje su prethodile odgovornoj potrošnji. Kao egzogene varijable uzeta su četiri prethodnika, a to su ekološko obrazovanje, percepcija pravedne trgovine, oporezivanje i emocionalna stabilnost. Model je testiran i statistički validiran modeliranjem strukturnih jednačina oslanjajući se na podatke prikupljene od preko 300 ispitanika. Edukacija o životnoj sredini se pojavila kao najvažniji prethodnik odgovorne potrošnje, nakon čega sledi oporezivanje, percepcija pravedne trgovine i emocionalna stabilnost. Nalaz studije doprinosi povećanju odgovornog i razumnog korišćenja resursa, čime bi se smanjila potrošnja i poboljšalo okruženje.
