Islam i feminizam u postkolonijalnom dobu
Islam and feminism in post-colonial era
Sažetak
Savremene akademske debate veoma često se bave pitanjem kompatibilnosti islama s liberalnim vrednostima. Pitanja s kojima se najčešće susrećemo u ovim debatama jesu kompatibilnost islama s principima sekularizma, s demokratskim uređenjem i s ljudskim pravima. Definicija ljudskih prava u aktuelnim međunarodnim dokumentima obuhvata: položaj i status verskih manjina, slobodu verovanja, mišljenja i govora, položaj žene u društvu, prava deteta, prava ljudi s invaliditetom, kao i mnoga druga.
Abstract
Contemporary academic debates often deal with the issue of the compatibility of Islam with liberal values. The issues most commonly encountered in these debates are the compatibility of Islam with principles of secularism, democracy and human rights. The definition of human rights in current international documents includes: the position and status of religious minorities, freedom of belief, opinion and expression, the position of women in society, children's rights, the rights of people with disabilities, and many others. This paper will specifically deal with (co)relations between Islam and the position of women in society, as well as a theoretical analysis of the most important works of women theorists who have dealt with Islamic feminism and rereading of Qur'an from a woman's perspective. Also, once the work has given basic assumptions of the most important works of these women theorists, we will offer their critical review.
