Investigating cybercrime
Sažetak
Visokotehnološko okruženje je prenatrpano pretnjama i izazovima. S druge strane, sajber prostor se tiče softvera i hardvera koji se koriste u mreži povezanih uređaja. Nove tehnologije traže tehničku veštinu, kako bi se održavale i zaštitile. Internet je kritična infrastruktura od čije usluge zavise mnogi klijenti. Iz tog razloga, svako ko interferira sa njim na štetan način potpada pod Krivični zakonik zato što je tada dobrobit mnogih pod rizikom. Drugim rečima, ometanje ljudskih aktivnosti u virtuelnom prostoru je zločin koji zahteva dobro razvijene istražne procedure i polise. U ovom radu, predstavljamo neke tipične visokotehnološke šeme i predlažemo metodologije upravljanja slučajem sa ciljem da objasnimo kako dati incidenti mogu da se reše.
Abstract
High-tech environment is overwhelmed with threats and challenges. On the other hand, cyberspace is all about software and hardware being used to make a grid of the interconnected devices. The emerging technologies seek a technical skill to be managed and protected. The internet is a critical infrastructure that makes a lot of clients being dependable from its service. For such a reason, anyone interfering with such an asset in a harmful context is under the Criminal Code as the wellbeing of many can be under the risk in that case. In other words, affecting people's activities in the virtual world is a crime which needs the well-developed procedures and policies for being investigated. In this effort, we demonstrate some typical cybercrime schemes as well as propose some case management methodologies in order to explain how those incidents can be resolved.
