Prevazilaženje izazova u dečjoj i adolescentnoj psihijatriji

Sažetak
Odgovarajuća zdravstvena i psihološka podrška deci i adolescentima od suštinskog je značaja za uspešan psihosocijalni razvoj, kao i za očuvanje mentalnog zdravlja. Nažalost, očuvanje mentalnog zdravlja dece i mladih je često zanemareni domen u zdravstvenim sistemima širom sveta. Poznato je da polovina svih psihijatrijskih poremećaja kod odraslih počinje pre 14. godine i da se prevalencija psihijatrijskih stanja kod dece i adolescenata povećava. Pravi razlog ovog povećanja i dalje nije potpuno razjašnjen. Bez obzira na nejasnu etiologiju, briga o oboleloj deci, adolescentima i njihovim porodicama treba da predstavlja prioritet u zdravstvenim sistemima svake države. Globalno postoje mnogi izazovi u dečjoj i adolescentnoj psihijatriji, a posebno su naglašeni u zemljama u razvoju, kao što je Srbija. Moguće rešenje za prevazilaženje ovih izazova je udruživanje profesionalnih društava dečje i adolescentne psihijatrije iz celog sveta. TA društva bi trebalo da rade zajedno na razvoju jedinstvenih strategija za dijagnozu, lečenje i podršku deci koja boluju od razvojnih i psihijatrijskih stanja i poremećaja. Pored ovoga, ključna stvar za adekvatno funkcionisanje i napredovanje dečje i adolescente psihijatrije je bliska intersektorska saradnja sa drugim sektorima koji se bave decom i mladima.
