Tribenuron-tolerant sunflower
Sažetak
Gajenjem hibrida suncokreta tolerantnih prema tribenuron-metilu i uvođenjem ovog u postojeću paletu herbicida u suncokretu, očekuje se napredak u odnosu na dosadašnju praksu hemijskog suzbijanja korova. Prednosti ovog sistema suzbijanja korova su: jedinstvena mogućnost suzbijanja palamide (Cirsium arvense), ekonomski povoljnije suzbijanje pojedinih jednogodišnjih širokolisnih korova, fleksibilnost primene tribenuron-metila u odnosu na fazu porasta useva, manja doza primene herbicida po hektaru, odsustvo ograničenja u smeni narednih useva i drugo.
Abstract
The cultivation of tribenuron-tolerant sunflower hybrids and the incorporation of tribenuron-methyl into the existing sunflower herbicide range should result in the advancement of the current chemical weed control practice in this crop. Advantages of this weed control system in- clude: unique ability to control Canada thistle (Cirsium arvense); economically more favorable control of certain annual broadleaved weeds; flexibility of tribenuron-methyl use relative to crop growth stage; reduced herbicide rate per hectare; no restriction on the choice of the subsequent crops, and others.
