Logistika i upravljanje lancem snabdevanja u turizmu - trenutno stanje i ograničenja

Sažetak
Turizam je veoma specifičan sektor i predstavlja jedan od najvećih i najbrže rastućih ekonomskih sektora u svetu. Konkurencija među turističkim destinacijama raste a logistika predstavlja jedan od ključnih faktora uspeha. Međutim, prilikom analize turističkih destinacija dominira parcijalni pristup. Uglavnom su proučavane i optimizirane određene kategorije tokova uključenih u kreiranje turističkih proizvoda. Sa druge strane, intenzivan razvoj i konkurentska prednost je postignuta primenom osnovnih principa logistike: jednovremene i sveobuhvatne optimizacije svih karika u tokovima materijala, energije i informacija, koji učestvuju u oblikovanju tokova snabdevanja turističkih lokacija i stvaranja njihovih turističkih proizvoda. Ovaj rad opisuje strukturu i glavne probleme upravljanja lancima snabdevanja u turizmu, njihovo trenutno stanje i faktore koji sprečavaju implementaciju i integraciju aktivnosti lanaca snabdevanja u okviru turističkog sektora. Takođe opisuje ulogu logističkih i turističkih operatera u planiranju i optimizaciji logističkih aktivnosti i povećanju konkurentnosti turističkih proizvoda.
