Sažetak
U dvogodišnjim istraživanjima koja su sprovedena 2009. i 2010. godine na zemljištu podtipa černozem sa znacima oglejavanja u lesu (lokacija Starčevo, Južni Banat), ispitivan je uticaj različitih organskih malčeva na agrofizičke osobine i prinos korena mrkve sorte 'Nantes SP-80'. U istraživanjima su bile obuhvaćene četiri vrste organskih malčeva i to: slama, pokošena trava, strugotina i seckani karton. Kao kontrola poslužila je parcela bez malčiranja. Ogledi su postavljeni po sistemu slučajnog bloka u četiri ponavljanja. U obe godine istraživanja, najveći prinos korena ostvaren je primenom strugotine, a najmanji na parceli bez malčiranja. Kao veoma povoljan malč za šargarepu pokazao se i seckani karton. U drugoj godini istraživanja, postignuti su veći prinosi i bolje agrofizičke osobine u svim varijantama malčiranja.
