Sažetak
U prvom delu rada se problematizuje sadržaj, dinamika i putevi pomirenja, prikazuju različita shvatanja i rezimiraju relevantni teorijski nalazi. U drugom delu rada se razmatra koliko se odmaklo u postizanju pomirenja na tlu bivše Jugoslavije, pre svega, između i unutar Srbije, Hrvatske i Bosne i Hercegovine.Ukazujući na postignuto, autor se bavi i preprekama koje stoje na putu dubljeg pomirenja. Među glavnim preprekama se ističe izostanak zajedničkog pogleda na nedavnu prošlost. Autor zaključuje da putevi dubljeg pomirenja očigledno traže vreme i stasanje nove generacije koja će svojom vizijom imati veću snagu da povuče jasnu crtu između prošlosti i budućnosti, bez zaborava, ali i bez težnje za osvetom, s punom svešću da je pomirenje uslov (unutrašnje) socijalne kohezije i (međudržavnog) prijateljstva koje će štititi od budućeg nasilja.
