About legal regulation of traffic ecology
Abstract
The problem of environmental protection is not a new problem that concerns our generation only. The ecological problems and crisis caused by technological society are a matter of the great importance of the world. In this paper we discuss about them, with accent on traffic all over the world. High concentration of industry and population means heavy pollution and all the signs are that current growth will increase at faster rates in the future. Leading branches of the Belgrade economy are industry, trade, civil engineering and transport, and they realize 82 per cent of the total income of the city. The city comprises 16 communes, of which 10 are urban communes and 6 suburban. The circumference of the city boundary is 129 kilometers."Lasta" is the leading bus travel operator and travel company in this area of South-East Europe. This company covers the whole territory of Serbia and parts of Montenegro.Urban development, unfortunately has been achieved to heavy cost to the environment. In this paper we define industrial ecology as very often used term nowadays. Urban areas in all Member States of the EU have experienced rapid and major changes over the past decade. Unfortunately, many European cities are now in a substantially worse condition than they were few years ago. Improvement of European or worldwide environmental legislation is necessary.
