Intellectual capital: A precondition of achieving competitive advantage on the global market

Abstract
Intellectual capital is as much as important for companies as it is for the society. Successful companies are continuously inducing creativity innovations, and new knowledge development, which are representing new source of the economic wealth and key factor of a success. Human resources are the most important part of intellectual capital (IC). In an interaction with other components of intellectual capital and their synergetic effect, human resources are leading to phenomenal scientific achievements, which are transforming into new technologies and generate economic wealth. Numerous scientists and managers are worldwide searching for effective methods, which are going to enable control of IC flows and IC managing in a purpose of achieving better business performances and long-term competitive position.
