Strategy of ALM bank concepts

Abstract
New aproach of managing active and pasive of the bank is called ALM-concept Base of this concept regards on shortterm managing of complete bank structure. Basing on ALM-concept, it is possible to create correlation relationship between risk and profitability of bank products. Using ALM-concept, it is possible to manage: a) market risk (interest rate change risk, exchange rate change risk, capital market risk), b) liquidation risk c) loan risk, d) derivative transaction risk (guarantee and terminal risk) e) business, law and financial risk. Conducting ALM-concept has created more flexible bank structures which are able to adapt much more faster to all potential changes on financial markets. With conduction of ALM-concept it is possible to build a vision of bank development and determine its competition position depending on other banks positions and whole banking system.
