A decision support system in function in strategic management

Abstract
A decision support system (DSS) is a highly flexible and interactive IT system that is designed to support decision making when the problem is not structured. A DSS an alliance between the decision maker, and specialized support provided by IT. IT brings speed, vast amounts of information, and sophisticated processing capabilities to help managers create information when making a decision. These systems development has an increasing role in the strategic management improvement.
Sažetak
Sistem za podršku odlučivanju je visoko fleksibilan sistem zasnovan na informacionoj tehnologiji, koji pruža podršku u donošenju odluka kada su problemi nestrukturirani. On predstavlja vezu između donosilaca odluka i specijalizovane podrške koju pruža informaciona tehnologija. IT doprinosi bržem prikupljanju veće količine informacija i pruža sofisticirane mogućnosti obrade podataka što poboljšava efektivnost menadžera u donošenju odluka. Razvoj ovih sistema ima značajnu ulogu u unapređenju strategijskog upravljanja.
