Sažetak
Propustljivost vodene pare je jedan od ključnih parametara u proceni komfora tekstilnog materijala, budući da definiše materijal u pogledu sposobnosti da propušta produkte znojenja ljudskog tela. Odevni tekstilni materijal sa većom propustljivošću vodene pare ne ometa efekte hlađenja ljudskog organizma putem znojenja i isparavanja znoja. Predmet interesovanja dosadašnjih istraživanja odnosio se na uticaj strukture, debljine, poroznosti materijala kao i vrste vlakana na propustljivost vodene pare. Osnovni cilj ovog rada bio je analiza uticaja svojstava pređe na propustljivost vodene pare glatkih pletenina. Različita struktura pređa je ostvarena primenom različitog intenziteta upredanja. Polazeći od tri različito upredene pamučne pređe u kontrolisanim uslovima su proizvedene glatke pletenine koje su podvrgnute ispitivanju propustljivosti vodene pare i vazduha. Dobijeni rezultati su ukazali na kompleksan uticaj koji geometrija jezgra i površine pređe imaju na propustljivost vodene pare glatkih pletenina. Pokazalo se da maljavost pređe predstavlja parametar koji ima veliki potencijal u pogledu prenosa vodene pare kroz tekstilne materijale.
Abstract
Water vapor permeability is a critical parameter in textile fabric comfort evaluation as it represents the ability of the fabric to transfer perspiration coming out of the human body. Clothing materials with high water vapor permeability allow the human body to take advantage of its ability to provide cooling due to the sweat production and evaporation. The influence of several factors such as the fabric structure, thickness, porosity and fiber type on water vapor permeability of common clothing materials was observed by previous researchers. The main objective of this study was to analyze the influence of yarn properties on water vapor permeability of plain knitted fabrics. The range of various yarn structures was obtained by applying different twist intensity during spinning. From three various twisted cotton yarns the knitted fabrics were produced under controlled conditions. Water vapor permeability and air permeability of the knitted fabrics were measured. The results obtained indicated the complex impact of the yarn core and surface geometry on water vapor permeability of plain knitted fabrics. The hairiness of yarn was proved as the parameter with great potential in terms of the water vapor transfer.
