Sažetak
Odnos međunarodne trgovine i ekonomskog rasta i razvoja je široko istraživano pitanje među ekonomistima sa još uvek nejasnim zaključcima. Predmet ovog rada jeste analiza veze između otvorenosti zemlje prema spoljnoj trgovini i ekonomskog razvoja na uzorku od 23 male i tranzicione privrede. Cilj istraživanja jeste da se na bazi kvantitativnih pokazatelja pokuša dokučiti kakva je priroda ove veze, te da se istraži da li postoji razlika između odnosa izvoza i ekonomskog razvoja i odnosa uvoza i ekonomskog razvoja. Nakon uvoda, u drugom delu rada daje se kratak pregled literature dosadašnjih istraživanja na ovu temu. U trećem delu rada prezentovana je metodologija istraživanja, način uzorkovanja, te načini merenja analiziranih varijabli. Četvrti deo odnosi se na kvantitativne rezultate istraživanja i diskusiju, dok je peti deo posvećen osnovnim zaključcima analize.
