Mogućnosti korišćenja mrkve u ishrani domaćih životinja
Different ways of using carrot
Univerzitet u Novom Sadu, Poljoprivredni fakultet, Srbija
Sažetak
Mrkva (Daucus carota) pripada i grupi korenastih vrsta.
Abstract
The carrot (Daucus carota) belongs also to the group of root crops including a great number of vegetable crops showing morphological similarities and hence similarities regarding cultural operations used. Together with parsley, parsnip and celery, the carrot occupies the most significant place in this group of vegetables. During carrot production large amount of plant mass not included in the processing is obtained. One part of it is ploughed under as harvest residue and the other remains as processing excess. The paper presents qualitative characteristics of carrot in standard and stubble planting date, with the aim of drawing conclusions on the justification for using leaf mass for domestic animal nutrition.
